The worst AI defense ever?

The 1B is a corner outfielder, the RF could play center, the CF is a 3rd baseman and the 3rd baseman is a potential gold glove first baseman.

Instead, the AI plays 3 unrated/low rated players who aren't able or really able to play that position (the 3rd baseman in center has a outfield range of 45/100, the 1st baseman at third an arm of 43/100, the RF at first could develop first base, as everyone, but there is no need to.

Playing 3b at center, a first baseman at third and a outfielder at first makes no sense even if there wasn't a center field capable outfielder at right, you should at least play 2 out of 3 at their best positions and the corner outfielder is the best choice for CF out of the 3.

In the next game, they played their backup catcher at center. He's hitting below .200. And they still had a corner infielder on their bench. At least they sorted their infield out.

Was this in an in-game substitution, or their actual depth chart/lineup? Sometimes if someone gets hurt in-game, they may not switch to an optimal configuration, but generally speaking, when they build their depth charts, they should certainly be playing guys in-position.

If their depth is set up this way, please feel free to upload league files (How to FTP files to OOTP Developments - Powered by Kayako Help Desk Software) and we can investigate if there's something in there that's causing them to get all crazy.
