I don't know if this has been brought up before but when I start up a standard game and look at Robin Ventura's Manager page it says that the White Sox made the playoffs in 2015, but they obviously didn't

No offense intended, but how many strategies could you possibly be using at any given time? Think I've capped out at about four, using force start at positions. Just curious.

pain in the butt when you want to switch strategies on some players and you want to start from scratch but you have to set all players back to none in order to do that

Since this last patch OOTP 17 has crashed twice on me during games (and they were games I was ahead in &*^%$# )!. No warning just a lock up and crash during playing out the games. No other common factor. This was in 3D view, one pitch mode. Game was against Rangers who were the home team. Happened in back to back games.

I might have to put this down until the next patch.

Make sure to copy the error report, if you get one, and post it in the Bug forum. Looks like 3D just isn't crash free for Macs yet. I suggest playing in broadcast mode. You just can't get into a game when you're constantly worried about a crash.

Minor quibble: Near the end of 2016 season, Rangers make the playoffs. News story says they'll be trying to win their first league championship.

Enjoying 3D so much I use it exclusively for my play out all 162 league.
Prior to the latest patch I was able to zip past the end of the inning "pawns skate off the field". That ability seems to no longer be there. Don't really want to watch that eighteen times a game.
I don't see any settings that would seem to control this. Is this possibly related to the fact that when my team had an off day I watched a game and unchecked pause after each play ???

It's locking up on Wndows 10 too. I'll try broadcast mode. I hope this a quick fix...I'm addicted to 3D mode now.

I didn't do this patch - I saw no reason. Until the moving of the labels in 3D mode is fixed. . .

Understandable. I will mention, though, that I switched to the small label designation and it's been working out fine, with the exception that the P and runner at 2B clip each other's labels a bit. When I want to know the specifics, usually after a play, like Arm or Def, it's simply unclick the box and re-click (select) when I'm done. Been fine. FWIW

Just had my first lockup ever with 17 and Windows 10 during a 3D game... bummer.

mine locks up "freezes" too on occasion. I used to think it happens because I would hit the button to pitch or hit too quickly. I am waiting right now to see how long it would take to unfreeze. When I click on screen it would say "not responding" with white screen.

Me too.. I waited for about 5 minutes or so. Then I lost the game I was winning previously.

Yeah. There are a couple of threads on this over in the bugs forum as well. Seems to be happening with apple and windows. Someone over there was wondering whether it had to do with using full screen in 3d. I haven't noticed the correlation. But who knows?

"hi. was your complex bug fixed? I have the same problem as you and the latest patch didn't fix it."

well, the game is still creating players as international free agents, even though i have that marked not to create any. i haven't tried to get my scout to discover any since the last issue, so i don't know if my team international complex is fixed or not. won't be able to try to find out until i get my computer back. (writing this on a diff. computer ....) It's headed to the shop Monday due to some HD issues.

the game was no longer telling me it has deleted players, so that part was fixed.
