They were run using the simulation module, so no injuries through the season. The rest of the settings were just out of the box - I think I may have manually adjusted a couple teams' lineups as we were still working through the roster set. We have some other tools that we use to get the detailed player stats, playoff simulations, etc... from them as well.

Watched it last night. It was pretty cool that they gave proper credit where the data came from but I wish they had plugged the game a little bit. Even a sentence or two about it. Outside of the context of using it to make the predictions I mean

We did a livestream last night where we went through the simulations in detail. It will be up on YouTube today, as soon as we can get the video produced.

In addition, we are working with MLB Network to get each of the segments on our YouTube page.

Soon! :-)

Thank you all for all your support. It is so appreciated!!!

I love the fact this amazing little game i played 15 plus years ago that had a small, rabid fan base, who would help create add ons, is now being used by MLB in prime time on the eve of the season... With amazing accuracy!!

You guys have come a long way and deserve all of the spoils. Congrats!!

I missed this last night and don't see any future airings on MLB Network. Is there anywhere this is available on demand?

I guess I'm curious how you run a simulation with any accuracy if it doesn't simulate injuries and fatigue reasonably accurately? Also what is the "simulation module"? Is this something I can access in my own copy of the game?

The NATS!
Fyi it was very close. Nats had like 198 series wins, Dodgers, Astros were both 150+ with Cleveland/Bos also up there too.

Could you please elaborate in a little more detail as to how you got the detailed player statistics through the sim? I’d like to replicate this myself. Thanks.

We cheat we might open up some of that a little more sometime, but we use a lot of internal hacks and tools to get that information.
