I started at OOTP 17. I've played thousands of hours and they have all been fun.

I started coding OOTP in October 1997. My girlfriend hated it.

OOTP 5 was the first I played, followed by OOTP 8, IIRC, then every version since then.

I'm now 63 and I hope to see 20 more years of new OOTP versions. Last edited by BusterKing; 03-20-2017 at 08:25 AM. |

I started with 5 or 6 I guess...whatever came out in 2004. The day Jeter crashed into the stands I decided I was sick of the real baseball world and needed to find my own "reality". Well, we all know what happened that year. My time went more and more back to the real baseball world and the Red Sox winning it all pretty much killed my OOTP playing all together.
I picked it back up in 2014 after the birth of my second daughter. I wanted to have something I could do while taking care of them...reading history books and biographies was no longer possible! So so glad I made that decision! |
