Five K's in One Inning

Rainy day and four wild pitches in one inning. Two were on strike three.

That's pretty wild! (Had one of those today, leading 2-1 in the 9th my closet gets strike three and the guy reaches. Ack! Of course he is a speedster who immediately steals second. Managed to induce a fly ball for the win tho'!)

Technically if they were wild pitches and not passed balls, shouldn't it be the pitcher who gets benched??

Something is up with how OOTP is using WPs? There are way too many WPs.

I decrease my wild pitch modifier by a lot before the season to avoid this

Could be sample size, could be confirmation bias...

Could be a knuckleballer on the mound.

Probably, but I think if the batter strikes out on it then the catcher should hold on.

Have you SEEN some of the pitches Ryan Howard strikes out on?

Haha. Just kidding!

Not if the batter struck out on a pitch he had no business swinging at.

Have had 4 Ks in one inning before but never 5 Ks LOL must have been a good pitcher and minor league catcher giving the starter a day off.
