Trainers
I was reading the book Ringmasters by Dave Anderson and it lists what trainers have trained which boxers or at least who they claimed to have trained. Perhaps people might like to add them to the game.
Richie Giachetti - Larry Holmes, Aaron Pryor, Esteban De Jesus, Greg Page, Julian Jackson, Johnny Verderosa. Cus D'Amato - Floyd Patterson, Jose Torres. Angelo Dundee - Carmen Basilo, Ralph Dupas, Luis Rodriguez, Sugar Ramos, Jose Napoles, Jimmy Ellis, Pinklon Thomas, Slobodan Kacar, David Estrada. George Benton - Evander Holyfield, Leon Spinks, Mike McCallum, Pernell Whitaker, Meldrick Taylor, Rocky Lockridge, Leo Randolph. Ray Arcel - Roberto Duran, Barney Ross, Ezzard Charles, Jim Braddock, Bob Olin, Tony Zale, Billy Soose, Ceferino Garcia, Lou Brouillard, Teddy Yarosz, Freddie Steele, Jack Berg, Alfonso Frazier, Abe Goldstein, Frankie Genaro, Sixto Escobar, Charley Phil Rosenberg. Lou Duva - Mark Breland, Joey Giardello, Johnny Bumphus, Livingstone Bramble, Bobby Czyz, John-John Molina. Emanuel Steward - Gerald McCllellan, Michael Moorer, Thomas Hearns, Leonzer Barber, Dennis Andries, Milton McCrory, Hilmer Kenty, Jimmy Paul, Duane Thomas, John David Jackson. Eddie Futch - Riddick Bowe, Marlon Starling, Joe Frazier, Michael Spinks, Trevor Berbick, Bob Foster, Virgill Hill, Alexis Arguello, Hedgemon Lewis, Antonio Gomez. If anyone knows any more perhaps they could add them to this thread. |

I have an extensive list of trainers that I have compiled
over the years, and would gladly share the list with anyone within the community, I have recently sent my entire list of trainers and the fighters they have trained or served as Cut Men for to one of our most prominent posters. So if you are interested in the list you can e-mail me greg.gorecky@sympatico.ca
