1890's Logos Needed
I need some logos for my fictional historical league. I need logos for the teams entering from 1895 - 1903.
Being in the 1890's, I don't want anything fancy. Just some old-english letters basically (ala Tigers, Yankees). Teams are: - Atlanta Generals - Red and White - Baltimore Browns - Brown and Orange - Chicago Blues - Blue and Gray - Cincinnati Redbirds - Red and White - Kansas City Cowboys - Brown and Blue? - New York Gothams - Black, Blue and White - Pittsburgh Rebels - Yellow, Black and Gray - Washington Capitols - Red and Blue - Boston Colonials - Blue, Red and White - Brooklyn Black Sox - Black and Gray - Chicago Federals - White and Navy Blue - Cleveland Athletics - Green and White - Detroit Stars - Orange and Blue - Milwaukee Brewers - Tan and Blue - New York Metropolitans - Orange and Black - Philadelphia Highlanders - Red, White, and Black - St. Louis Maroons - Maroon and White The first color is main, with following colors secondary. Any help is appreciated! |

This is the logo the Pittsburgh Rebels used, too small for a logo but maybe one of the logo guys can resize or make a logo out of it. Last edited by ukhotstove; 03-29-2007 at 11:45 AM. |

Don't know if this is what you want but it's the logo of the Negro League Detroit Stars.

Those logos are good, just need to be recolored. The P logo is exactly what I was thinking of for all of them, just a little different for the cities with the same letter.

Yeah the logos were pretty basic back then, memory serves me right I think the Cincinnati Reds logo was just a old english style C coloured red which you could get one of the logo guys to do for the Redbirds.

I know you didn't specify white for the Washington team, but I think when you are dealing with two dark colors the white outline really makes a difference in it's visablity. If you don't want it on there, I can take it off.

No, it's good.
You can change anything in the others if you want too. You're the master at these, so I'll let you use decide on these. |

I love them!
Is there anyway you can redo the Pittsburgh one? It just doesn't look right for some reason. |

Unfortunately it's the grey and gold together that makes it blurry like that. I took it out -
