National Baseball League revamped

This is my fictional National Baseball League (NBL). It is a league that started in 1980. From 1980-1989 there was 20 teams with 2 wildcards per division (Atlantic and Pacific) and expanded to 24 in 1990 with a wild card format.. The current format of 30 teams and 3 sub divisions (Easter,West,Central) and a wildcard per division (Atlantic and Pacific) started in 2000. I am currentley in 2016. The layout is currently like the MLB. You guys are welcome to any of these teams, I have only done 2 uniforms per team for the current season. I have revamped a good many of the teams logos, uniforms and in a couple of cases changed the name of some of the teams. I had this league on OOTP 14 and 15. Most of the logos are from various sports teams and sports. I modified a bunch of them, added stuff and recolored them. Some of them are mine. Hope you guys enjoy.

The Sacramento Mallards are one of the original 20 teams. They won the inaugural Championship in 1980 and did not even win the pennant! They came from the wildcard to win it all. They made the playoffs in 80,81,88,90,91,92,00,01,02,06 and the most recent in 13. Even through some rough spots, the fans are a loyal bunch, that are hoping for another championship.

The Spokane Chiefs are one of the teams from the 2000 expansion. They have had their struggles finishing 5th in their division from 00-07 and 3rd in 08-09. In 2010-11 the Chiefs made the playoffs twice and won the East Pennant in 2011. In 2015 they made it back to the playoffs, winning the East Pennant again. 2016 looks bright for the Chiefs!

The Portland Whalers had an incredible run from 1980-1993 with 10 pennants, 14 playoff appearance, one championship. Since then they have only been in the playoffs twice 1998 and 2005. They also won their division in 05. The die hard fans are eager to see another 14 year stretch like they had.

seeing your incredible jersey talent mixed with what is clearly going to be an incredibly creative concept has me beyond excited. not many people have a knack for making fictional teams look major league (a lot of the fictionals here over the years screamed fictional). These so far look amazing. Looking forward to checking up on this thread.

The Louisiana Black Bears are one of the original 20. From 1981-89 the Black Bears had 7 trips to the playoffs and 1 championship. It would take them until 2008 to make it back to the playoffs. Even though they have not won another championship yet, They have won 3 pennants and have been to the playoffs 5 times from 2008-15. The Black Bears seem to be regaining their form from the 80's.

The Orlando Wizards entered the league in 1997. They have struggled for the most part, but had two good years in 2005 and 2006 winning the Atlantic Central pennant. They also played for the championship in 05.

The Orlando Wizards look great! I might have to pilfer them for my own OOTP universe!

The New Jersey Iron Clads made the playoffs in 1985(finished 1st in the Atlantic East),1989,1991. From 1993-98, they won the Atlantic East Pennant every year and also won the NBL World Series in 1993. Since then they have not made the playoffs. They have a very loyal fan base that longs for the glory days of 93-98. The Ironclads have rebranded their identity this year. Since 1980, they were associated with the Ironclad vessels from the civil war era. Their logos now feature an Ironclad knight. For the most part, the rebrand has been accepted by the fans.
