Just as you stand by your reputation, maybe others don't agree on your reputation - so you wouldn't want some list going around that doesn't allow you the chance to defend yourself right?

I think if you take your time recruiting and actually vet (maybe extremely vet... get it) your potential owners then you won't have a problem, rather than creating some list of people who cannot defend themselves against a reputation attack.
Fair enough.

Let me be more clear - the list of GMs I'm gathering is all about those GMs that decide to join after we share a bunch of information with them and they disappear and/or spend a very little time in the league and then disappear for a few sims without any communication at all. Those are the flakes we are talking about. I'm not looking for a list of people that didn't agree with you or the league and communicated openly about it.

It's never happened to me so I guess that's why I question perhaps a recruitment method flaw as well that you might want to look into.

Not a pat on the back moment... I am commish in two and in a few and I've never seen what you mention happen. I think if you spend more time vetting your potential owners and less time making lists blocking people from joining, you'll get better owners.

enjoy the rest of your weekend

Isn't getting input from others a way of vetting a perspective owner?

Even Santa Claus has a list and he checks it twice ;-)

You should ask yourself why others don't need that. Yes that's a way of getting them but again, somebody could have ditched your league cuz they disliked if...That doesn't mean they would ditch mine. Talking to prospective owners before just handing a team over is what I meant about vetting them.

Don't just take a pulse.

Focus on why you see.to get did owners first before worrying about creating some blacklist. Because I think you'll find that will make your league better rather than worrying about creating a reputation for people they might not deserve.
