Looking to create an Online Arena League (Promotion Relegation) Pay or no?
I'm looking at creating an online Promotion/Relegation "Arena" League association. Here is the layout:
Set in 2050, The North American Arena Baseball Association will be an association of 4 leagues with all parks being either Dome or (when geographic location permits) retractable roof. The park factors will be as such: All averages will be 1.200 All doubles will be 0.700 All triples will be 0.200 All Homeruns will be 2.000 All park dimensions will be 200/215/220/225/220/215/200 Walls will be 50 feet high Stadium capacity will be allowed from 15,000 to 70,000 The park factors are obviously to give a major offensive feel to the game, but pitcher will still be able to have an affect on the game, as the strikeout factor will be 1.500 to allow for increased strikeout totals. Leagues will use a typical 5-man rotation, with the exception of only 2 relievers typically being allowed (you would normally put Starter #6 or maybe even an ace-type pitcher here as a stopper) Active roster limit: 20 The NAABA will be a four-tier association. Arena Beta League (ABL) - 10 Teams Arena Alpha League (AAL) - 10 Teams Arena Champions League (ACL) - 10 Teams International Premier Arena League (IPAL) - 10 Teams All levels are considered Arena League Baseball (ALB) For ABL and ACL, the winner of each league earns a promotion and the following boosts to payroll: $10 million to your budget for the ABL $20 million to your budget for the AAL For the AAL, the lowest team faces relegation and a $5 Million decrease in team team budget For the ACL, the top three teams are promoted to the IPAL, with the 2nd and 3rd place teams receiving a $30 Million dollar increase and the winner receiving $40 Million. For the IPAL, obviously the three lowest teams face relegation and a $10 million decrease in budget. The IPAL will have a 6-team playoff The winner of the IPAL is granted $50 Million to their budget. But that's not all! NAABA will also hold an Association playoff: The top two teams from each of the lower tiers, plus all playoff teams of the IPAL will compete in a 12-team playoff tournament, with the winning team receiving a $50 Million increase in their budget (something that will either solidify a Premier team, or change the course of a lower franchise) The current rules (that I can think of) are as follows: Managers: Off, all GMs will be GM/Managers Scouts - On Overall Ratings - Off Potential Ratings - Stars Batting ratings - 0 - 100 (Potential only!) Budget: Entire revenue is available ALL TEAMS ARE FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE The only thing I need is someone who can host, or perhaps we could make this a pay league, with each GM chipping in $10 bucks to cover the hosting fee plus the following payouts: ABL Champ: $10 AAL Champ: $20 ACL Champ: $30 NAABA Champ: $90 IPAL Champ: $150 Reply to this thread or PM me if anyone is interested. I'd much rather have someone be able to host, but if I have enough demand I could do a pay league.
