Historical Roster Question

Ive noticed that if starting a historical game, the prospects ratings are quite less than what really happened or how they really turned out. Case in point is the attached 21 y/o version of Don Mattingly. How can i combat this w/o having to edit?

Whats your recalc settings? in 1982 Mattingly hit .167 in 12 AB.

hmmm..uh not really sure. didnt mess with em when i started. what should i be looking at?
Im not well versed in OOTP to be honest

Default is 3 years. I would wait and see what he does in 1982. i have not played historical yet on ootp 17. I was wondering how having players come in a few years before they appeared on a ML roster will affect their early stats. With the Spritze HS DB players like Magglio Ordonez would be really good 3-4 yrs before they were IRL. I am interested in what players liek Jackie Robinson would do in 1946 or Scott Podesnik who spent 8 yrs in the minors.

Also if you Import a Historical Team like 2010 Royals won't get all it's Minor League people from that year to do that you have create League and have to move Teams over and to many Leagues to Create just to get my Royals Leagus with real Minor League Teams.

Yes I don't want to have create each years League to move Minor League Teams same with my World Series Teans League.
