Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

For my 32 team MLB league I moved Toronto to San Antonio and added Portland and Charlotte.

I have Charlotte in my game (called Carolina), and I've been thinking of moving someone to Vancouver soon. Or expanding.

Try Riverside or San Antonio!

23, 30 and 33 always make most sense in my mind.. although San Antonio would be in my mind as well.

I always think that if the sanctions get dropped, MLB will be in a hurry to add Havana.

Montreal would be a nice place for baseball again, too, if they were to ever get a downtown stadium built. I could definitely see a team like the Tampa Bay Rays moving there. Former Expo Warren Cromartie is part of a grassroots campaign to bring baseball back to Montreal. I would love to see it happen.

Montreal would fit perfectly in the International League. If it does well there, then an MLB team should seek permission to move .

I still think New Jersey would be a hotbed for an MLB team,as long as they were far enough away from the Mets and Yankees so they wouldn't have to pay territorial fees.

There is no way Montreal would accept a AAA team.. Major leagues or bust.

Population is only one part of the equation, however. Other important factors are the per capita income of the area, the number of large companies based in the area, the presence of other pro sports teams in the area, the proximity to other clubs in MLB, the DMA ranking of the area, etc.

I know. But that's how Famous ESPN Commentator Keith Olbermann sees it.

Sure. But it's not exactly a unique perspective.

The sanctions won't be dropped until Cuba rejects Communism or the Cuban émigré community in Florida dies off. Waaaay too many grudges there, most of them fully justified.

I fully agree. But in the event that Cuba does drop Communism (albeit unlikely in the near future) Havana would have to be a priority I would think.

A team there and one in San Juan would make 32 nicely.

And then rearrange things so that Miami, Tampa, Havana, and San Juan are all in the same division. The Miami-Havana rivalry and games ought to be lots of fun.
