I would like there to be the ability to disable ghost players on tournament rosters assuming a bare minimum number of players on a roster. This option is allowed for minor leagues but as of 24 is not allowed for the WBC for example.

I'll simply repeat my long-standing wish for the game to keep track of teams' past uniforms so that players retire wearing the correct uniform. My fictional league is about to enter its 160th season, but there have been no significant uniform changes during that time because of this issue.

If the developers could add this feature, it would breathe new life into my fictional league and make this long-time player extremely happy.

I have a long time fictional league with a very rich history (over 250 years) and have built some monster teams which I really loved. Would love to be able to "export" these terms to play in series (much like historical exhibition) or even get 8 of these teams to create an all time greats league.

Si is moving Fm over to Unity Engine for Fm25. SI are very bad communicators though. Absolutely 0 word on what that means. Just the match engine, just the graphics engine, we know it is about the graphics that was mentioned at least, sim engine. rest of Gui. is it a complete redesign, complete new code 100%? who knows.

it will be interesting though.

OOTP would be amazing in Unreal Engine 5.

1-Exclustion of "reputation" based trading system

2-MLB.com style pitch fx in pitch by pitch mode

3-In one pitch mode, option to execute strategy on pitch count. Ex. hit and run if count is 2-1.

4-Incorporation of PT baseball cards into historical mode.

5-Option at start screen to download mods/ability to have photopacks loaded upon initiation of league instead of facegen.

6-Historical quickstart challenge mode. Ex. win world series with 85 Mets.

7-Special rewards for achiving historical quickstarts.

8-Team specific crowd/organ/music sounds.

Small request here...
Can we get the option to set Maximum Batters Faced in this screen for Overall Strategy?


This would make it line up with the Individual Player Strategy page.

Scouting reports for 2 way players that include both hitting and pitching.
And a way to distinguish 2 way players on rosters , free agents trades etc.

I would love it if single pitch ratings made sense. I’ve never understood how some low-A-for-life guy guy with 2/4/3 s/m/c can have a 7 fb and 6 curve etc. same as a MLB all star.

The way I understand it, and I could be wrong, is as follows:

Every pitcher has a natural level of Move/Control.

Pitches are an enhancer or, possibly, a detriment to that natural level.

Stuff seems to be derived from a combination of things including pitching speed and the pitches themselves. You can see this in the editor.

So, a pitcher with naturally low values in Mov/Con and a low pitching speed will have low values in the three main stats, with even good pitches not contributing a lot to the main values.

EDIT:

One way to think of high pitching values with low pitching stats would be as follows:

Imagine two people are at the rifle range. They use the same weapon. One has never seen a weapon in real life. The other is a Marine Corps Scout/Sniper. That weapon is going to be rated 100 regardless, it's the natural skill and training that's going to determine shot groupings and locations. The Jarhead, when he's not eating crayons, knows a million little adjustments that virtually guarantee well placed shots in tight groups. The newbie... not so much.

A pitcher may have a great pitch, but it's the rest of their abilities that determine if it's an effective part of their arsenal.

I want ALL of these.

I'll add: if using entirely fantasy setups, a 'use facepacks for randos' toggle. Cuz the facegen is... We don't talk about Brun^H^H^H facegen.
