If you don't, then you have to start from scratch.
I have saved all the jerseys and caps I created for my leagues as templates.

So I can always go back, change some small (or bigger) things without starting all over again ... sometimes it's just a small adjustment in colors, font or even size of an image on the jersey

I've never been able to figure that out myself.

So if I need more than 1 layer, I just combine them into one file using Paint Shop Pro, then have JC load the combined file.

You only have to click on "Add Image" or "Import", respectively and load the image from your computer.

When you move your mouse over the image you can easily resize it

Help with Downloading

Hi, I don't have a lot of experience with downloading files, and getting them to work. Could someone help run me through the process of uploading the jersey's I made in the jersey creator so I can use them in OOTP.

Thank You

Germaniac gave your the right info.

The "Add Image" on the left side allows you to place the patch logo on the jersey.

The "Import" button on the right side allows you to place it on the left sleeve.

Often the letters will get separated in a circular logo... especially the top text... they will not be evenly spaced... there will be a gap between one letter and the one next to it.

New York Yankees... it will turn out as New York Yank ees… with a gap.

What causes this?

Is there any way to avoid this.

It will be fine in one font, but will get out of synx on another font.

Would appreciate your help and advice.

First of all, I am not good downloading or loading files into OOTPB... I have to get help from other helpful folks here on the OOTP Graphics Forum.

I am doing this from memory, so I may not be totally correct, but this should give you some idea of how to use justafan's great software.

Once you have created your logo, jersey, cap... save the template if the software allows it... and then save the logo, jersey, cap... I don't think the logo maker allows you to save the template... the jersey and cap creator do allow you to make a template.

The template mode is great... it allows you to import the original work and lets you make quick changes in it... you don't have to totally recreate the work... see the button Import Template to rework a cap or jersey.

Once you have created the product, the software will store it in a folder on your computer... notice that when you save the product, it will say in the popup window where it is being shipped... you might have to tell the software where you want it shipped... I think you do this when you set up the options in the software... you have to tell it which folder on your computer you want it stored in.

You then go to the Folder on you computer where you stored the logo, cap or jersey... from there you copy it to OOTP Development into your "saved game" folder.

Give me a day and I will get back with you with detailed instructions... I am making so logos, jerseys and caps today and will write down specific instructions, step-by-step for you... including how to install them into your league folder.

Let me know today if you want me to do this.

These above posts were several months ago... they probably won't see my replies... I hope OOTP will tell them when they get replies from threads.

This thread is not very active, but I will post my question here anyway.

Is it possible using justafan's jersey software to create a Houston Astros rainbow type jersey?

I would like to put 3 horizontal stripes on the Jersey.

Is it possible to put horizontal and vertical stripes using justafan's logo software.

See the Rainbow Jersey at this link:

Not directly. The closest OTS option would be to start with the online Jersey Maker; Modern Elements --> Tequila Sunrise.

I don't personally care for the standard Jersey Maker textures, so I would load in a Custom (blank) jersey first, uncheck the Button Pad, uncheck the Buttons, add the Tequila Sunrise element, and save-as.

Next, I would import that saved jersey into Jersey Creator and finish with text/shading/whatever as-desired. Don't forget to "Save Template" too for editing in the future.

Is it possible to limit the stripes to three?

That's all I need.

Thanks for the response.

Yes, that is the kind of stripes I would like.

There has to be enough room to put the Team Name or Team Nickname above the three stripes.
Can you move the three stripes a little bit lower... and make the horizontal stripes a little thinner like knuckler did below?
Three thin stripes is all I need, maybe four... knuckler put seven..
The jerseys in the game only show down to the third or fourth stripe on knuckler's Acadians.

knuckler did this for his Vermont League... I'm going to use it in my new South Island Recreational League.

There is another way it can be done.

Here's how Lawn Loaf did it on one of his teams.
