About Byung Nam Park....I wonder if he really was from Kiribati. The name is Korean and mixing up the three letter codes KOR and KIR seems just so easy...furthermore he fought two of his three fights in Korea.
Anyway, thanks to everyone providing fighter files! Great work! |

Amar Singh
In the full photo, it appears that this guy is bare-foot and has shorts that don't really fit and may have been borrowed. He may have litteraly been pulled off the street. Talk about padding a record photo moved

RAY MING CHAN Flyweight (1957-1963) Overall Rating = 5
Born - Malaysia 8(2)-4-1 Chan appears to have been a very promising flyweight when he quit the ring after only 13 bouts. He had two wins over Kiyoshi Miura and beat Kyo Noguchi who had lost a world title bid earlier in the year. He fought 12 times from 1957 to 1959 then took four years off before the fight with Noguchi. After the nice decision over Nuguchi, he just vanished. If anyone knows anything about him please let me know.
