Historical Draft Classes

If i started a historical league in like 2010 will the draft pool for that year contain the players from the 2010 draft like Harper, Machado, Sale etc?

Yes and would like to take starting with first year that Draft happened and include those guys along with this years guys and yes can move this Years Teams into that Years League Structure but guys like Kersshaw would retire.

it must be bugged then because the draft class for that year dont show up when i start the game

The draft classes appear xx days before the actual draft, not upon the creation of the league. Check your settings to determine the date that is currently designated.

the players should still be in the draft pool which is available to see throughout the season

Draft pool doesn't show until 30 days before the draft. You can edit that to show earlier if you want.

well ive just started season 2 of my Phillies save and the draft pool is showing in March

Is it a present day save? Draft classes are viewable throughout the season because current day leagues use the 4 year draft class. Historical doesn't.

To import players based on their draft year, you have to check off the "import full minor leagues" option, which imports players as long as they played in the minors that year IRL. However, if they waited until next year to make their minors debut, they wouldn't appear until the next year as well.

Otherwise, the default is to import based on their first major league season, so you might wait a few years for the players to show up.
