No, the browsers find the page, but the message is I can't connect to the server that hosts it.

I found the problem, my McAfee security has a firewall that prevented the connection. When I turn off the firewall, no problems.

Is there a way to add additional font other than the ones listed? Or some other way to use them? I dont have a capability at this time to use Justafans software and there are many jerseys from Low i want to re-do and I need those fonts he uses.

This program uses the fonts installed on your system. You would need to contact low and find the name of the font he used and install them. Not all fonts are free. There are apps on the web to help identify fonts but they are not always accurate.

Actually, CapMaker and JerseyMaker can't use the fonts installed on your system (that's a browser security issue). The fonts you see are all that are available. The best alternative is to create the text in another program and import it as an image, although you can't bend or otherwise alter the text in the app.

A bug report, I guess: if a team's name has more than two words in it, only the first space is replaced by an underscore when downloading, which causes the game to not automatically recognize the jersey/cap as being for the team that it's for. For example, creating a Dodgers jersey and clicking the save button would produce a file named "jerseys_Los_Angeles Dodgers_Home.png" instead of "jerseys_Los_Angeles_Dodgers_Home.png" as it should be.

Easily fixed on my end by renaming the files to include underscores instead of spaces but this has gotten slightly annoying. If it makes a difference, I'm using Firefox on a Mac.

Unfortunately I think that's created a new problem - it's now apparently not reading capital letters properly? Just did a new set of Sacramento Solons jerseys, that all came out looking like "jerseys__acramento_olons". There's an extra underscore too, between "jerseys" and the first word. Weirdly, lowercase letters work fine.

Fixed again. Regular expressions are not my strong suit.

Just wanted to say thanks again for creating these and continuing to host them. They make it amazingly quick and easy to bang out uniforms and caps.

One request, is it possible to add an import/export function that contains the settings/colors for a jersey? Something like dumping all the values into a text file with the ability to import it again. Another cool thing would be the ability to send the color pallete from the current jersey to the cap maker (and ice versa)

Oh, have I got some news!

I've been working on this for a while, and I've gotten it working. With a couple of caveats - you can upload your own fonts.

What are the caveats?

The browser doesn't have direct access to your installed fonts, so it's a manual upload process. That's a basic security thing and I can't change that (and I wouldn't even if I could).
The browser - at least in Windows - can't access your default Fonts folder (i.e. C:\Windows\fonts - see my security note above), so you'll have to copy whatever fonts you want to use somewhere else, like a temp folder on your Desktop or something.
I've run into a few fonts that just don't work for reasons I can't identify. So this may always be a slightly hit-or-miss thing.
Uploaded fonts will only be available during the current session - if you close or refresh the browser the fonts will disappear from the list.
Uploaded fonts will only be available to you, so other people won't be able to access fonts you've uploaded.

I have updated it a bit so you no longer have to go through the second "upload" click. Just choose the font file and you should be good to go.
