Major League Baseball Recreated

This will be a historical league with real players starting in 1969. The league will have the 24 teams that represented the 100th season in MLB and will include AAA, AA, A and Rookie league for each team.

The year is 1969, and Major League baseball had a labor and management issue that they had a hard time overcoming; players boycotted spring training over a desire to have free agency, a better pension plan for Veteran players and a new collective bargaining agreement. Owners agreed after a lengthy stoppage, on the grounds that the league would start fresh with an inaugural draft - 150 rounds. Order of the draft was pre-determined ahead of time.

I was born in 1969, and started watching baseball in 1975 or 1976 timeframe; wanted to run an alternate baseball history.

Sam "Sudden Sam" McDowell was the #1 overall pick in the inaugural draft.

And this marks the start of this league. I will post from time to time updates.
