Got you a working schedule. Just a quick first attempt so if others want to make a more robust version please feel free to do so. It's forced to start on a Tuesday so not exactly April 1st...don't know how to make it start on the 1st regardless of what day that 1st is.

Let me know if it doesn't work as intended and i'll see what is going wrong.

Thanks
Alex

As attached the file in its parameters at the top has...
Code:
start_day_of_week="6"
...which corresponds to starting the season on Friday. The numbers for day of the week in the game are:
  • 1 = Sunday
  • 2 = Monday
  • 3 = Tuesday
  • 4 = Wednesday
  • 5 = Thursday
  • 6 = Friday
  • 7 = Saturday

To not start on a specific day of the week, simply remove that parameter.

I do not see the "start_month" nor "start_day" parameters. To force to start on April 1st, those parameters should be set as...
Code:
start_month="4" start_day="1"
Also including the "start_day_of_week" parameter would mean starting on the first instance of that day of the week on or after that calendar date set by "start_month" & "start_day".

Because the request asks for interdivision games midweek and division games on the weekend, it makes sense to include the "start_day_of_week" parameter. Without it over the years an April 1st every year would mean losing having the the games at midweek and on the weekend. E.g., what had been on Tue-Thu one year, the next year falls on Wed-Fri or Thu-Sat if not using "start_day_of_week" and letting the exact calendar date float.

Updated Schedule from the requested OP. He wanted a 30 game version of the schedule with games on the weekend and 1 game on tuesday. So this schedule starts on Sat with no required start date. Thanks GMO for clearing that up for me. I did forget that I started the previous schedule so that way the weekend scheduled games are always set in stone. Still getting recaught back up with scheduling.

Attached is the new schedule he wanted, 30 games, 18 games against the 9 division rivals on weekends and 12 games against interdivision teams that also technically falls into the last weekend just for the sake of 30 games. Could make the schedule 28 games for more optimized results.

Got another rough draft schedule for this league.

It's a 48 game schedule that only plays games on Wed, Fri, Sat, and Sun...
