Giancarlo Stanton
I realize it is a real small sample size, but 39 games into my franchise mode using real MLB rosters and Stanton is on a tear.
PA: 169 H: 43 HR: 25 RBI: 48 AVG: 297 OBP: 385 SLG: 834 OPS: 1.219 Does this sound like something out of the ordinary? Seems at this pace he could hit 100HR. I'm sure the slump is coming at some point. |

Its a small sample size. He will regress to the mean.
With that said I have seen a lot of great Stanton seasons with 21 including mine. He must have some jacked up ratings this year. 104 games into my season he is hitting 323 with 43 home runs and 108 rbis with a 5.9 WAR. |

He's a boom or bust guy in that he'll hit great if he makes it through a season.
One season I simmed through on release day saw him lead the Yanks to the WS...only to mess up his shoulder while working on his farm the day before Game 1. I found that exceedingly hilarious. |

I've seen the opposite with him in my seasons... Most of the time he's hitting .235 30 hr's and 80 rbi's and always on the hurt

For me Stanton was like Babe Ruth in OOTP 20. Played my first game with Stanton with OOTP 21 and he hit 3 HRs on opening day.
Also, I can never get DJ Lemehieu to perform up to his MLB standards/stats. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
