Random crashes
Nothing specific on this but...
I play out all my games. I usually leave the game open as a tab. Every few games(10-15) games they game will just shut down. It could be a memory issue(16 GB RAM) however Ive never had this issue with past versions. Very nice game but I am getting a lot more random crashes than with any other version. I messed with the 3d settings as Markus suggested in his post above and it seems much better. My computer(2014) might just not be good enough to handle the default 3d settings anymore.

Same here. 16 gb of ram for me as well.
It happens enough where it makes you hesitant to start a game because you have the fear that it will be a waste of time and crash in the late innings, lol. Incredibly frustrating. |

A lot of similarities with us. I've played 10-15 games and had the crash happen twice. And my PC specs are identical to yours; Windows 10, 16 RAM, x64. Only difference is I'm an Intel Core i7 instead of i5. This same machine ran OOTP19 and OOTP20 flawlessly. |

I messed around with some settings. Windows/Full Screen, audience animation to none, audience quality to low, OpenFL with fast blit.
I am still get memory leaks. Just by leaving the game open every few games(5-10) I get not responding and it will never come back. Its quite annoying. I have to close the game with task manager and start over. No specific error message. Same way Ive played with the past 5 versions without these issues. Thankfully I have save daily on so Im not having to replay 5-10 games. Intel HD Graphics 4600 Display Adapter Last edited by jbergey22; 03-27-2020 at 12:05 AM. |

Another thing to look at here would be what other programs you have running in the background.
For those this is happening for, if you can go through all the troubleshooting tips in the first post in this thread, and if that doesn't work then post as much of the information requested in the bottom of that thread here, so we can try to see what might be going on.

Ive done the troubleshooting tips.
In the background, I have turned off my virus protection programs, steam and anything else running in the background like that. I will usually have anywhere from 3-25 chrome tabs open. I have the non steam version of the game. I wish I had more info for you but I have very little running as I just use this desktop for gaming and browsing. And the type of gaming I do is all simulation sports games. Nothing that needs a high powered computer. 16GB RAM used 277 out of 931 gb storage Intel(R) Core i5 - 4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz 64 bit operating system, x64-based processor Everything factory installed, nothing personalized |

Microsft book 2, core i7, 16 gb, gtx 1060, video card is up to date.
The only thing I I have on the computer that did not come with the computer is a word processor that I used last year with no problems and OOTP 20/21. About every 4th of 5th game the little blue circle come on and everything is locked and then I get a message to click to send error report to Microsoft and to close the program.I I play in 1 pitch mode and it seems to occur when I click to pitch. Needless to say, I now have game before I play out a game. |

I have a new pc and have had 3 crashes in 8 games played, before the conclusion. Typically, SLACK is in the background and often OOTP XX is open.

Here too. It has happened to me about 4 times as well while playing-out games.
I have a Dell, 16 Gigs of RAM, Nvidia GTX 1060. Same laptop I had with 20. Last edited by Calvert98; 03-28-2020 at 01:35 PM. Reason: Make it 4 times now that it has crashed. |
