Continental League: '60s independent league
The Continental League is entering the 1967 season, our seventh since its founding in 1961. Following the concept of the actual proposed independent league, the Continental League features 12 teams which started out by employing MLB's leftovers but has quickly grown in reputation and finances and now competes for some of baseball's top talent. We share free agents and the amateur and rule 5 drafts with MLB and the two leagues have reached an agreement on free agency as well.
Now that the league has stabilized, we're looking to expand. We could use teams in Los Angeles/Anaheim, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Oakland, or any other realistic city. We can hold an expansion draft including both MLB and CL players, and you'll be able to sign free agents and participate in the amateur and rule 5 drafts before your first season. We cover one week per sim, three sims per week. Pretty standard MLB rules. MLB teams are run by the AI. We have a tight-knit group of owners who have been in leagues together for a decade or more, and we host two other leagues on our forum as well. If you're interested, drop me a PM and let me know which city you'd like. League site: http://cl.kralc.net/ Forum: https://kralc.net/board/forumdisplay.php?67-CL
