Pitcher throws no-hitter in first start off DL

To get a feel for the new version I decided to quickly sim through with the Marlins just to test the waters. This pitcher started the year on the DL, and the first day he became eligible to play I started him, no rehab or anything. And this is how he did. Not bad.

Against the Cubs, that's almost like cheating.

I can say this because I am a Cubs fan. :P

if you gave him a rehab start maybe he wouldnt have gone and walked those two guys.

:P

But wow, what an excellent performance, must really give you some confidence going forward.

I wasn't planning on spending more than an hour or two on this file, but if he keeps it up I may just have to see how things play out.

what was his injury?
how long was he out?
What date was the No-No thrown?
How has the SP done since the No-hitter?

just curious to see how the no rehab works for long term vs short term

So is Phillip Humber. Perhaps we should check to see if the universe is a hologram simulation.

This game was about 3.5 weeks into the season. And it was an injury he started the year with so it doesn't show up in the history. Here is his pitching log so far, I haven't gotten very far.

I don't know man, Jim Abbott pitched a no-no with one hand. Anything is possible.
