Real Players - Fictional League. (Help Needed.)

Been playing OOTP for 10+ years, and I'm just now starting to really mess around with all the bells and whistles. In the past, I've always just played straight dynasties with my Mets. (To varying degrees of success.)

These past few days I have started fooling around with a fictional league. I'm intrigued by the world building aspect, as well as starting statistically & historically "fresh."

My issue is that I'm not sure how to use real life players in a fictional league.

Ideally, I would like to create a league in 2018 with teams in America, the Caribbean & Asia. I'd like to populate the league, using an inaugural draft, with real life (current) players from MLB and the Japan, Korean & Cuban leagues. Is this possible?

I'm kind of new to modding, and if there is an easy answer, I would very much appreciate the help.

Thanks to all.

I probably would start a new league with all the leagues of players you want MLB, Korean, Japanese etc. I then would create your fictional league(s) but make all the teams unpopulated. Create an association with those leagues so they share a draft. Then delete then MLB, the minors, and the Japanese league etc which puts all the players into free agency. Then schedule an inaugural draft with your fictional league.

Thanks!

Looks like that worked. Thanks for the unbelievably quick response. Never would have worked that out myself!
