Make the re-offer in the trade match the response in the email
Basically, I start a trade, we work out 3 players on my side (salary dump!) for 2 on his, but he's still "that's close", and "make it happen now" just brings up a list of my top starters. So I ignore that and submit it. I get the mail response back saying that adding "one of these players" (all of whom are pretty much scrubs on my minor league roster) will make the trade acceptable. So I go to discuss the trade, but there is no option for me to add any of his suggested acceptable players, so I hit the "make this work". No dice, it lists a pile of my starters, not one of those lesser players. So I restart the trade from the mail again and drop the highest rated player, add in one of the suggested players from the email (making 3again on my side), then hit the make it work button thinking that it would include that one player. Nope, it wanted one of 4 starting pitchers, my 5star 1st base, and my top 2 prospects.
So please, either have the suggested players in the discussion, or make them the Make It Work choices, or simply don't offer. To work as it does now is FRUSTRATING, because its a trade we can make but the GAME keeps it from happening. |

It is also from experience that submitting an offer will bring up a list with 1 or 2 extra players than what are on the Make it Work list. Usually these players are scrubs. So while it is frustrating, there shouldn't even be a possibility for it to happen. |

I do think the make it work needs some fixing.
On a side note, I have received trade proposals in the mail, and when I go to the trade screen, the opposing GM would say no way that he would take an overpaid, underperforming veteran. This is in spite of the fact he proposed the trade to me first, and I did not change the trade! |

Yes, the make it work usually has starters, strong relievers, or top prospects. What I meant was the players who could be accepted from the trade response message and not from the make it work screen are usually scrubs.

Exactly! In the email response to the trade, you get scrubs, but if you use the option to re-discuss the trade (from the message menu) those listed players are NOT in the make-it-work list in the trade discussion screen; instead it wants starters and high rated players (scrubs not listed at all).

The real solution is to allow us to trade more players at once, maybe up to 5. |

I realize this is an o-o-old thread, but I'm having the same problem WACo describes in MLM2015. Also the same frustration, since it's a deal I've been working to make just right for quite a while. I submitted a help ticket on it, so I guess I'll have to wait to see what the response is.
