How to create Historical League with ONE COMPOSITE TEAM?

Hi,

I am playing OOTP 15 and would like to know the easiest/best way to do this:

I want to replay the 1969 season, with ONE COMPOSITE team of my choosing against the rest of the league as it otherwise truly was.

For instance, I would like my composite team to have Hank Aaron, Roberto Clemente and Lou Brock in the outfield. I would want the Braves, Pirates and Cardinals to otherwise be as they were, having to replace the players they lost (I want to let the PC manage all teams).

What is the easiest way to set everything up so I can cherry-pick the players I want on one team (i.e., a starting rotation of Seaver, McLain, Niekro, Cuellar and Marichal) while leaving all else intact?

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Easiest way would be to go into commish mode and "force trade" for the players you want.

Thanks, ArcAngel . . . that is what I had done prior to reading your reply . . . I basically "stumbled" upon doing it that way . . .

Had an interesting result . . . I loaded the San Diego Padres with "All-Star"-caliber players in all 25 spots . . .

They won the regular season with a 105-57 record, ahead of the Dodgers by ten games . . .

But in the playoffs, they had to go to five games to beat Pittsburgh, and then, in the World Series, they came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Yankees in 7 games.

They were world-beaters in the regular season and had to scratch their way through the post-season . . . but they did eventually win the World Series . . .

Yea, I am running into the same thing in the league I am running now with a "stacked" team. Started in 1871, with year-adjusted stats and financials, and while I have won several divisional championships, I have only make it past the second round of the playoffs once (winning the WS) in the 9 seasons I have ran so far.

Alternatively you can use the player editor to turn each player you want into a free agent, dump the players you don't want from your team and then assign the free agents you created to your team.
