Lineup/Depth Chart Issue
Apologies if this has been brought up, but I haven't seen it in other threads yet...
Has anyone else had trouble with their starting lineups and depth charts actually being used? All batters are 100% rested, the lineups and depth charts match up, but when I go to play a game, the AI tries to start a player who is not listed as the starter or utility player. No cold or hot streaks, and the starter and utility player are not in the lineup at another position. The AI just seems to really want to start another player. |

Lineup/Depth Chart Issue
Yes its happening to me now too. I play out every game so I didn't bother even setting up a depth chart. The AI wants to change out my starting SS with a utility infielder almost every game. Like you said this is with my starter 100% rested.

My problem isn't identical but similar, sometimes I find my starting lineup re-arranged, and I have to go back and re-set it on the lineup page.

The AI wants to use a utility player?
Maybe the AI insists on replacing your choice because the depth chart says something like "every seventh game" rather than only if the starter is tired or "never." I know most forum readers figured this out long ago, but there might be a new player who should check the depth chart.
And new players should never change the depth chart without afterwards changing (or asking the AI to change) the lineups. Last edited by McGuiser; 12-28-2013 at 01:50 PM. Reason: Another suggestion for new players |
