Editing Player Names/Info
I just don't see how I'm ever going to really be able t get into iOOTP until or unless we can at least manually edit player names, if not import them into the game. Making team names editable was a good first step, but playing with fictional league just isn't quite enjoyable enough at this point to maintain my interest.
Also, while I know it's probably not a big deal to most users, I'd really like to see players have their hometowns listed in addition to their nationalities.

Would this also mean that we will be able to edit players' positions as well? I drafted Pedro Martinez only to see him spend his career as a setup man.

You can edit positions now. Just not their ratings.

How can you do that? Is it "set position"?

Yes. His ratings will get better the more he plays the new position but probably never be real good depending on the change. For example an outfielder changed to first base will probably be fine but moving from second base to pitcher not so much.

You can do it. Not sure of success. Stamina and amount of pitches will make the difference. Try it. That's what is great about this game. The only obstacle is time. If you don't like the outcome start over.
Also read as many iOOTP posts as you can. Great info and people on here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
