Disabled list ETA

How about a gauge or a metric to tell how far along your players are in their recovery schedule? Right now it's anyone's guess.
Even better would be a way for you to directly influence their recovery. Should you send them for an MRI or let them recoup for 15 days? Do you start them in AAA in a rehab assignment or bring them straight back up?
Maybe their rehab routine could influence their confidence rating?

Not sure if this'll help you, but I found that you -can- indeed see how long a player will be out with their injury. Basically you can find out at any point you can get access to the player's stats / ratings, but here's a step-by-step of how I found it (and it was on accident!), with pictures:
  • On your Manager Home screen, tap Manage Team.

  • From the Team Menu, tap Disabled List.

  • On my DL, I have two players listed. I'm going to use Shin-Soo Choo for this example. Tap on the player you want to check.

  • Yup... He's indeed injured (and playing like garbage to boot!). To get an idea of how bad off he is, swipe left on your screen twice. This will scroll you past your Popularity / Morale screen into the Contract / Status screen!

  • Now Choo had actually been on my DL for a bit now... Approximately 2-4 weeks. It seems that iOOTP is limited (at least sim-wise) to a 15-day DL; I've not seen anything larger. But as you can see, the screen lists what he's out for (a herniated disc), and his estimated recovery time (at this point 4 weeks). Of course, setbacks can occur (which you get personal messages about), and this recovery time -does- update as you go through your schedule.
Hope this helps!

You can see it in the contract/status screen.
