Newspaper articles inconsistency thread
This is the thread where we point out inconsistencies in the articles in the hopes they get fixed for the next version. I am hoping if we put all the things we find in one thread then it'll be easier for the developers to fix these issues.
ps I love this feature so don't think I am hating on it. I just get slightly annoyed when little things don't quite add up such as a 33 year old player being praised for resigning because of his loyalty but has only been with me for half a season... [IMG][/IMG] |

Well, a player can have loyalty without having played season after season. Without it, he may not have signed, he may have signed for less time or even more money. Maybe they forged a great relationship in that short amount of time. I'd have to say that one's an eye of the beholder and mine blinked.

This is not one that I would change. At least in the situation you present.
What did Chicago give up to acquire this player? Was that trade such that the player felt wanted? Did the fans embrace him? Did Chicago give him a chance to be a regular starter while others had given up on him? Did the loyalty come from the position of while he could go anywhere, this is where he always wanted to be. |

From Cleveland to Baltimore to Chicago all in one season? And bouncing around year-to-year before that?
Maybe he was just happy to not have to up and move for a few years. "You want me to stay? More than three months? Where do I sign?" They've made a friend for life. I get more upset about the stories where one of my players is dating Kate Moss and posting about it on Facebook when it's 1953. |
