Lukas - I compared the players' faces and I could be wrong but to me the one here looks smaller than the one over in beta. If that's not it, I'll help you to figure out what's different.

That's a fair opinion, but going wide-screen the schedule page just looks empty when it's constrained to 2 columns. Letting it go left-to-right and splitting the leagues horizontally works for me.

Couldn't agree more. One of the biggest things that needed improving was the scores and schedule screen where you could fit more games on a higher resolution instead of just two columns using one half of the screen and having to scroll down to see the rest Nice to see this improved.

First OOTP 15 Screenshots!
I like the way the facegens look. To me in that very small sample, there are three very distinct looking faces. I like how Vicente Sandoval has the mouse face going. Never really seen a Facegen look like him before.
I'm sure things will get tweaked as these are only first screens

Looks great!
Personally, I think the pitching rate stats (K/9, BB/9, HR/9) should round to the first decimal like Baseball Reference. It looks better and will save some space on the screen too. Last edited by ms2002; 02-02-2014 at 02:52 PM. |

Agreed. It has a bit of a "Windows 8" look to it, which isn't a bad thing. Not to me anyway.

Is it possible to have team color skins? Black & White for White Sox, Sky blue and white for Blue Jays, Navy Blue for Yankees, etc?

Perhaps you are right, but I was talking more of the detailed pictures in the player profile screen. The player pics in the scores screen were never that detailed before anyway

Admittedly, there's some oddity associated with them, but keep in mind the initial post offers up the disclaimer that it's a "work in progress," so I look forward to an improvement. Isn't everything improved, eventually?

idk. I ended up editing out that part of my post cause the more I looked the more I didn't think there was much of a difference between these faces and the ones in beta. That being said, you may be right.

Wow, the new style is a big step forward, I absolutely love the new look! Very clean, good looking and sharp.
My only suggestion is for the profile and Batting Stats/Pitching Stats pages. There's a lot of wasted space in the Personal Details and Status boxes. I'd recommend shrinking the horizontal size of the boxes so that we could get even more stats on that page. With that one change, I think it could take another leap forward. Great work! |
