USOB is a fictional league that strives on letting the members run the league. We do not have an appointed commissioner, instead we have league committees which make decisions for the league. Our league motto is "Per Populum, Pro Populum", which translates to "by the people, for the people". This motto is definitely what we believe in as a league.

Our league has an incentive point system to encourage activity. Incentive points are given for writing articles, voting for awards, etc…

The league started in August of 2012 and is in its 16th season. Roughly half of the league are original members.

Right now we are 4 days into the offseason in December 2027. None of the big FA have signed yet so there is opportunity for a big FA splash if you so seek.

Right now we have 3 Openings.

Hawaii- Great young team who just lost in Game 7 of the World series.

Mile High- Stuck in and around .500 for a couple seasons. Have some good prospects that can be alluring to other GM's if you are looking for a quick turnaround.

San Diego- In severe Rebuild mode, but have the prospects in the system as well as a top 5 pick in the upcoming years draft.

This offseason is moving fast with the sim schedule. One a night.

THURS (2/11): Sim to 12/22
FA sim #2 - 7 days
5 teams CP upgrades

FRIDAY (2/12): Sim to Jan 1
FA Sim #3
5 teams CP upgrades

SUNDAY NIGHT (2/14): Sim to Jan 15
FA Sim #4
5 teams CP upgrades

MONDAY (2/15): Sim to Feb 12 - preseason begins
FA Sim #5
Remaining teams CP upgrades
Teams development budgets need to be set

TUESDAY (2/16): Sim to March 4 - Start of Spring Training

WED (2/17): Sim One week of Spring Training (Spring Training sim 1 of 3)
THUR (2/18): Sim One week of Spring Training (Spring Training sim 2 of 3)
FRI (2/19): Sim Final week of Spring Training (Spring Training sim 3 of 3) to Opening Day

MONDAY 2/22 Opening Day!

We also pride ourselves on being unique and encourage creativity. We also encourage teams to make the teams their own. So if you would like to relocate or rebrand your entire organization, feel free to bring your proposal to the Board.

I looked at this league once, and even had contact with someone who really didn't seem interested in keeping up with me as I was strugglin to get the league downloaded and set up on board as the Great Northern owner, even after havin me set up in the league and introduce mahself.

I'm still interested, in either Mile High or Hawaii Franchises (He only mentioned diego last time I heard and I aint interested in a complete and total dismal rebuild looking at their roster)
