Extra Innings Baseball is now in its 7th season. (We've had five different champs in our first six seasons.)

We started with the Major League Baseball teams of 2013, fast simmed to 2018, and then launched as an online league.

Quick overview:
* Financials have been adjusted in several ways, although the effect is subtle. The goal is to moderate the gap between financial haves and have-nots, and to slow down salary inflation.
* Nothing too far out in the the adjusted ruleset, but it has been adapted a bit to appeal to OOTP players who like to micromanage lineups, attend to full rosters rather than just the stars, and get deeply involved in minor league player development.
=>Daily sims, each covering just four days during the season
=>Low scouting accuracy and the not-too-granular 2-8 rating system
=>Injuries set to "high/realistic modern day" and high randomization of player development

This should be a stable, long running league. I commish three leagues, one of them going back more than ten years, so you don't have to worry about about the league folding just after you get attached to your team.

This is a really great league the commish is always on time with the sims and we have a great bunch of GM's

Yes, I highly recommend this league also as I was in it for a few seasons. Really like the daily sim format. Gives you something to look forward to after work. Don runs a tight ship as well.

Spring training is fast approaching, and Cleveland is in need of a new GM.

A troubled time, suitable for someone who wants a challenge, the team has not finished higher than 4th since we started Extra Innings, and they have lost 100+ games three out of the past four seasons.

At least they start with one of the top young pitchers, and a high draft pick.

As we wrap up the World Series and head into the offseason, it looks like we have two vacancies to fill:

Cubs - last in the NL Central, in need of some major pitching upgrades but running a profitable operation.

Angels - a weak third in the AL West, profitable but really needs to work on attendance. Has a couple of the better pitching prospects in the minors.

Let me know if you'd like one of these teams.
