The single financial coefficient is distorting.
That requires real-world data as the starting point—and much of it is not publicly available. So it'd require lots of estimation. Even then, you still run up against financial model limitations—for example, OOTP does not differentiate between local media revenue and national media revenue, a distinction which is fairly significant in the real world. And you still have the lack of expenses issue, which means any real world revenue numbers have to be artificially lowered to compensate.

It would be an estimated table, and require some thought, but it needs to be good for only about 140 years, and could be done by decades perhaps , so there are not that many values(14x4= 56 values)-- but better than using the straight inflator coefficient alone because it would allow salaries salaries, gate income, etc., to appear close to historical values. Now the salaries for historical eras are out of whack.

The game already loads some historical information by year from tables. This should be a relatively small incremental improvement on the single coefficient method.

I must come back to asking about Rule 5 drafts.
I like to have it on, since you can´t stockpile talents.
However using standard DB you get problems with years as a pro.
Old players like Chris Coste, John Lindsey and the likes have plus dozen proyears before they enter in Regular DB.

This is my biggest "problem".

I know Gambo and Spritzes solves this "problem", but yet how would one go about getting this correct in the standard DB.
