Spring Training Roster

Why during Spring Training we can only use our 25-man roster?

In real life we can have more players in ST to see how they play. At least the 40 man roster.

In League setup/Rules tab, check to see what your expanded roster size is set to.

I have 40 for September 1st, there should be another date to cut the roster at 25, like Opening Day.

40 man roster between Sept 1st and Playoffs starts.
25 man roster between Playoffs starts and Pre season (January 31st)
40 man roster between Pre season (January 31st) and Opening Day.

Just make sure that the 40 man roster in spring training isn't running the arbitration clock nnce this is fixed.

your roster will show a limit of 25 players, but you actually can have 40 in ST.

The problem I have seen with Spring Training is that the AI-controlled teams have their entire organization on the Major League roster and available for spring games. This is fine with me.

The problem is that when the players are moved back to minors at the start of the season, the minor leaguers all have Major League minimum contracts. This forces teams to release players as they are over budget.
