FWIW I probably had to edit about 25-30 team locations. |

New version is up. Alternate link should be up shortly as well. I really can't imagine making any more changes to this unless I really screwed something up.
Thanks |

someday, when I become rich, I'm going to buy rapidshare just so I can close them down.

Thanks for this.
Anyone found away of adjusting merchandise income? It's really messing up the financials - the Reds have got about $30m of spare budget, most other teams do as well. |

Prop for Truthy!!
Just want to give public props to truthserum. He's been a excellent GM to have in many leagues I've been in and even one I am commissioner of.
His work with logos and player pics has always been 1st class. |

Ah ha, you can edit all team financials in home/ballpark options.
Merchandise income is definitely overstated for most teams, and in any case I believe this revenue is pooled and shared equally among the MLB teams. Should be able to give each team a realistic budget now, with a little room manouvere - just not $30m! This site is excellent for payroll info - apologies for my ignorance of the league outside the Reds (keeping track of English football and the US Sports is tough!) but what are the Marlins playing at - $14m payroll?? http://asp.usatoday.com/sports/baseb...aspx?year=2006 |

When I took down the official 2006 NYPL schedule, the league was still listed in its old divisional alignment. I compared the format of who was playing whom and noticed something was very odd - based on that, State College and Williamsport should have been in the Pinckney Division but were still listed as being in the McNamara Division. I simply assumed it was another case of oddball minor league scheduling (of which there is a lot). It turns out the NYPL did realign the league after all - I just checked the official MILB web site and sure enough the standings page reflects a different alignment from the one listed when I took down the schedule. Arrrgh, I was afraid something like that might happen... Sovereignstar, could you please think back and document all these little errors you noticed? I'd like to get them corrected, thanks. I'm an idiot...
but can someone tell me how to select the team I wish to manage when I open this quickstart?
I've been able to add myself as a manager, but I'm running the Durham Bulls. How do I select the team I want to run? When I resign - I only get "available jobs".... what if I just want to pick the team I want to start with? Can I not do this with this quickstart? |

Go to the manager screen and check the commissioner box. Then you can manage anyone you want to manage.

I am also trying to replace the GCL with a new fictional minor league system located on the Northern Plains. I have a few logos and ideas I have been tossing around on the logos thread. If you are interested please take a look and offer some feedback.
