Got another one now too along with some other guys trying to sell around 220. Hoping none sell for a week and that 145K last seven price disappears haha.

The flaw seems to be that anyone with enough points to buy it isn't dumb enough to fall for that.

Come on man, this is the AH laugh thread, not '"how to trick people on AH" thread. Lighten up on your business maneuvers and achievements, and insult somebody's horrible auction instead of explaining the thoughts behind those horrible auctions.

You intentionally do that to someone? Out of curiosity do you cheat people in everyday life too when the opportunity presents itself? 200k is likely very real money, not funny game currency in many cases.

Like I said, I've never seen it work but laugh at the hustle. I don't list that because also like I said it's a waste of time when the card never sells.

Once it is PP, since you can't cash out your 25-man roster, it is as much real money as the pink and red and yellow banknotes in any game of Monopoly.

It's actually one of the oldest tricks in online game AH. Plenty of "cheaters", to use your word, do that everyday.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That Bobby Wilson price is just weird. If one wants to tank, there are a plethora of 40 OVR cards, no freaking way one is buying that 1500 card over others.

Yup, otherwise the card won't be 500. I guess the 1,500 dude is just banking on people getting desperate when it's the only copy in the market.

Someone posted him for 40k a couple days ago, nobody bought it.

Basically, it's the last card that people seem to get to complete the "Fastest" mission which rewards a diamond pack, so in some ways it can be worth paying up to about 15k for, hence the current average price the last week up around the 13k mark. Why people are listing it for more than that, I have no idea. If I'm going to pay that much for a card that gets locked, though, I might rather wait for a Diamond RIckey to come on the block and spend a little more to get a card that's much more usable at the higher levels.

this is not my auction but i will say i don't understand why ppl get upset about a card that is listed for a high PP amount that is needed for a collection.

i understand when someone is annoyed about a LIVE iron that is listed for 500 K+....but ppl are overpaying for collection cards. and the silver Rickey has a lot of ppl looking for it on discord rn. so you have a seller trying to cash in. nothing wrong with that.

you dont have a right to buy a card for AAV on the auction house. so really just move along and dont buy it if you think the price is too high. my .02

I think 20k on that card seems fair as the avg. 7 shows 14,000 hinting that he has a market. But if Ty Cobb wants to express his opinion in this thread(which is all about pricey cards on AH), he can do that too. Just let people post and have fun, my 02.

is to showcase an auction you found worthy of ridicule. I found it so. Tastes differ. My $14. By the way...why did you think I was upset?

Yesterday I was BAMBOOZLED trying to finish a cheap mission. Needed a 48 miguel castro which was going around 50 points but I just had castro 48 written down and ended up paying 50 points for a 48 harold castro. After a good chuckle I got the right one then relisted harry (for 50 of course, keep the chain going). Fair play you sly auctioneer.

your post said you wanted to tell person putting card up " BLANK you"

i think that would fit most people's definition of upset.

but Harold Castro is needed for a different mission.

Be careful with hardware hero Deshields and LIVE Deshields, though.
