Cant advance to next game

New to the game so not familiar with all the settings. I started a game and thought it would be cool to start as a manger of a minor league team and work my way up so I only have manager control of my team. Im in the Pacific Coast league and when I try advancing to next game I get a message that says..."Telemarket Rimini has illegal number of players on active roster,(8)" it takes me to that teams page but there isn't anything I can do about it. Cant advance beyond this point.

you need to fill that roster. you most likely need to be in commish mode. go to league settings and then go to team & leagues. on the right side of the screen, in a small box is the current league, change that to your PCL (which should be Triple A) then click on League actions. click on all league functions. then click fill teams with fictional players. that will fill ALL the teams in AAA with extra players (it will not replace any already there) so they will have enough players to advance to the next day.

Enable commissioner mode temporarily.
Then you can use the team functions dropdown (top right) to fill team with fictional players. That should let you advance.
If it happens a lot you may need to tweak the settings to make sure enough players get created.

There is an option to "Allow incomplete rosters" (enable ghost players). This allows the game to run and it simulates players that do not accumulate stats. It is a way to progress without having to stop every time this happens.
