DiMaggio's streak broken?
Just curious...has a player in any of your modern day games ever broken DiMaggio's hitting streak? A player in mine, Tyler Benson of the Padres, came the closest I think I've ever seen..49 games in 2024

Ty Cobb posted that in one of his leagues Lloyd Waner had a 60 game hitting streak back in the 1930's before DiMaggio ever had his streak.

I once saw a 77 game hitting streak.
But i cant really count it as i was running some tests in setting up my league.
Test leagues are sort of like preseason to me. I cant really count them until my league is setup.

Never seen it. Been playing for 10 years and probably somewhere around 500 seasons. Most I've seen was 42.

In games i have played no, the highest is 35 games. In simming in my ABF league Ty Cobb had a 76 game hitting streak.

I’d have to check my fictional league for the exact number but the best I’ve ever seen is only something around 33.
