Signing free agents with NMC
Hi,
I have noticed that it is impossible to sign a free agent who wants no move clause without no move clause (I guess it is same problem with contract renewals). When you offer a contract and remove the no move clause from offer the player accepts your offer but the "submit" button is not highlighted and you cannot press it. Is there something I am missing or is this a bug? |

Sounds like a bug. He should reject it, but you should still be able to submit it.

Because of that bug it is impossible to sign for example Drew Doughty without NMC and 7 year contract, anyhow AI can sign those free agents without NMC and also with shorter contracts (Blake Wheeler did have NMC and contract length wish was 5 years or so, was it Dallas that sign him in my save with 1 year contract without NMC.)

Hi,
Are you going to fix that bug? It is pretty annoying, because you cannot sign any classy vets for a few seasons. In my Islanders save I had to sign Bobrovsky with NMC, 7 year contract with about 8 million annual salary, his ability will go dramatically down during final years of that contract. Few that kind of contracts will make your team today's Detroit Red Wings with lots of big NMC contracts and poor success. At the moment I am having a save with Vancouver and when Horvat/Petterson/Boeser current contracts will end they can add NMC to their contract demands. |

It's on the list to be looked at. Bear in mind, though, that some players will demand a NMC no matter what.
