OOTP 14 to OOTP 16?? (Can I skip OOTP 15?)

I have a league which I started with OOTP 14. In order to import to OOTP 16, does the league have to be played in OOTP 15?

I do not think it does, but just checking....

It doesn't need to be "played" or advanced even a single day in 15, but you will need to convert it to 15, then to 16. You can use the demo version of 15 to do the conversion from 14 to 15, then convert the new 15 file to 16 in 16.

I forget now the exact versions but I think it might have been version 12 which is where my longstanding league failed to convert to No.13 due to a'corrupt database'so I put the league to bed and started a new one.The next year I came across my old league file and on a whim plopped it into No 14 and Hey Presto! it converted 100% with no problems and I'm back playing it once again,its now been going for 6 years and playing out the games,22 seasons.
