INTELLECT - What is it good for?
I guess this is aimed at the guys on this forum who create fighters from scratch. I read somewhere that the 'Intellect' rating affects how a boxer will follow instructions from his corner but only when strategies are used. Do you find this rating has much real affect on a fighter's performance? If so, is this only the case when you let the game control strategies? I've never really considered this factor when rating fighters myself. I've always thought it was like 'Draw Power'.
I would think Gene Tunney, Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, etc. would be '10' and Joe Grim, Ed Dunkhorst and Stockings Conroy etc. would be on the opposite end of the curve. Cap

Good/interesting question!
I wondered about it recently with Gabe Rosado @ 154 - he just won decisions when I fought him in the past @ JMW but then used Roach as his trainer & he knocked out a guy in 2 rounds. Roach has a rep as an aggressive trainer so maybe he told Gabe to go for the KO & he listened. Last edited by hamed2; 03-19-2021 at 12:26 PM. |
