I wasn’t expecting the change to injuries. I’ll have to give this a look. Also really appreciate the improvements to historical. The lefty/righty splits will be interesting along with more emphasis on defense.

I love the additional tourney modes. I'm definitely going to try a "March Madness" like tournament, only because it's baseball, maybe I'll call it "September Psychosis", or "Unbalanced October", or something.

I just keep stumbling across additions that I like.
– Manual voting for end of season awards As in 10 slots for MVP, 5 slots for CYA, and 3 slots each for Reliever of the Year and Rookie of the Year? If so, giddy-up. If not, hopefully it makes it in before too long. Just give me what the ordinary schlubs at the BBWAA get, and I'll be a happy camper. Thank you! – Added playoff history to league history page This is an outstanding addition. It'll be nice to be able to look back at more than just "Brooklyn over Philadelphia 4-2". How much more will we be able to look at? Or should I wait to see until next week. Thank you! |

I'm happy to see pitcher arm angle ratings in the game. As well as an improved draft pick trading AI.
I can't wait for release! |

I do wonder if the playoff history function will work in leagues past or will it begin with OOTP 19 season ??

For prior games, we might have enough data to display the history properly, so we'll try to include that if we can. But some of it depends on if the league structure or playoff structure has changed, in which case we won't be able to display it properly.

Matt,
Will the player graphics just be one size... the size shown in the Markus' demo trailer? Can they make the player images larger so you can easily see them and the ball? Last edited by Eugene Church; 03-17-2018 at 09:58 AM. |

The player labels automatically scale to the resolution available. And yes, you can set both the 3D ball and player size in the settings dialog.

I'm ashamed to say that during the waiting period leading up to the release of OOTP Baseball 19, I've been trying out other Baseball sims (to "scratch the itch" while I was waiting): Strat-o-matic, Baseball Mogul, and Action PC! All 3 games are nice and fun in their own ways but honestly, all playing them did was make me want OOTP even more. There's still nothing out there that truly matches OOTP. The amount of research, work, attention to detail that has gone into each release and the easy, user friendly interface - this can't be overstated; it's a love letter to the sport. It is truly amazing. It's still hard to believe that the pre-order beta will be here tomorrow.
