New Fiction Cartoon League

Hey guys! I'm thinking about starting a new Fiction Cartoon League. Basically, we'd have all different types of cartoon characters. The teams would probably be...

The Simpsons
-With many simpsons characters (Bart, Homer, Duffman, etc)

The Deep Blue Sea
-With many Spongbob Squarepants characters lol (Spongebob, Patrick, etc)

Marvel
-With many characters from the Marvel Comics (Spiderman, Catwoman, etc)

Loony Toons
-With many characters from the Loony Toons (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, etc)

Justice League
-With many characters from Justice League (Superman, Flash, Batman, etc)

Futurama
-With many characters from Futurama (Bender, Leela, Fry, etc)

Family Guy
-With many characters from Family Guy (Lois Griffin, Petter Griffin, Meg Griffin, Stewie Griffin, etc)

South Park
-With many caracters from South Park (Eric Cartman, Kyle Broflovski, Stan Marsh, etc)

We'd have two divisions. I'd come with a wacky name for em. I think I could fine 8 good GMs easilly. This would be real unique. I'd need a co-commisioner who would help me with roster set/photos/stadium and stuff. I'm very active. I could get webspace and a pretty good looking site up. Just want to see who would join a league something like this, post if you have more ideas or more teams.

I'd be interested in being a GM. It looks like it would be a ton of fun. And you can use King of the Hill.

This is an awesome idea.

It would be hard to fill out teams for Smart Guy, Futurama. You could consider adding characters from other popular shows. Space Ghost, Mighty Mouse, etc. are some ideas to fill out teams.

Hmm I wish I could join this but I am in too many leagues and starting up one of my own is sucking up a ton of my time.

Running a team of characters from the camply Hannah Barbara cartoons of having a team from the Fantastic Four would be just too sweet.
Good luck with this.

Dibs on Speed Racer...

Speed, Racer X, Snake Oiler, Captain Terror, Inspector Detector, Pops Racer, Sparky, Cruncher Block, Tongue Blaggard, Acey Ducey...

OK, maybe not a great idea but that was a nice childhood flashback...

This is a great idea. If this pans out I would love to get dibs on Futurama. Just an idea: I think to make the teams even, it would probably easiest to have a full draft with fictional players. Then the GMs could pick and choose which players to rename to their cartoon characters. That way all the best players would be recognizable characters.

I have a question, because my friend said that the ages matter. Like a 4 year old would take way too long to develop...is that true?

You should add the He-Man team.

Orko, Man-at-arms, Tila, Adam, The Sorcerous (sp?), Skeletor, Beast Man, Ram-Man, Trap Jaw, Evil Lynn... etc

I posted to a thread several days ago about this very same idea. I would be interested in jumping into something like this, if enough people get interested in the idea.

Let me know what you think.

Peace.
