Anyone interested in helping start a new league?

I'd be interested in starting a new league but would prefer to have at least one, or maybe a couple people help set up a great new league...

Pms are answered

My plan is to have 3 people doing the simming, one does one sim a week. two people in charge of the website . Ideally this would be basically 4 people in total.
Also, if it ends up being current day, I would probably have a custom made roster set.

Still interested in doing this, just really wanting a co-commish who could focus on the website?
I expect to have a custom roster done in 2 weeks max

Ok so ive been brainstorming tonight while beginning the work on the roster set

2017 Opening day
looking for older or more mature people that understand we won't be simming 4 or 5 nights a week. I mean i do have to work and i have a family

I'm leaning towards 3 sims a week of 4 or 5 games at a time. I don't like the idea of too many games at once in case of injuries and what not.

I'm leaning towards some kind of mobile platform for league communication to make things easier. Ideas bouncing around right now are KIK, whatsapp or just using Facebook? we would have a league website but unsure about forums.

To simplify managing the minor league systems, I moved all the 2 star or better prospects off of the GCL AZL and DSL and put them on the next lowest minor league team and then deleted those three leagues.

The file began with all foreign leagues included. I went through and took every 3star potential player off and retired everyone else. Then i deleted those foreign leagues. For now, ive left the Atlantic league and am considering putting the foreign players there for the first season so as to not flood the free agent market immediately.

I'm open as far as slider settings.

It's probably going to take me roughly one week to tweak some of the players that need tweaked. ill look at the draft class and try and add some J2 Free agents. That should take another week.

So basically im looking at taking the next two weeks to fill the league and hopefully find a co-commish who could handle the website side of things.

Hope to see this league fill up soon.

and on that note...
I'm claiming the St Louis Cardinals

In my personal opinion, I run a league and we use Slack to communicate. Very easy to use and simple to get going.

If you get it going- I will take the Mets. Slack is great for communication.

interest wasn't all that great back in October, but thinking about this again because I can't find a league that's not 5 or more years already in and I want more current and preferably untouched rosters.

so looking into trying this again

I think if you update the top post, or perhaps start a new thread, with the exact league settings you will see much more interest.

Slack is definitely the best for communication.

That said, if this gets started as a modern day league, I am definitely interested
