Advice on managing your inbox

Hi all,

As I delve deeper and deeper into this game I find myself more amazed than ever.

One thing I'm having trouble tackling is my inbox. I read some of the mail that comes, but not all. Especially a lot of items where the headline tells the whole story.

I think I still want all the mail coming in that does come - but is there a way to automatically mark certain things "As read?" Right now, the mailbox defaults to my oldest nonread message, which is often weeks or months back, so anytime I receive a personal message, I have to scroll all the way to the top.

Of course it's not that big a deal, but I wonder if I'm not doing something right.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Andrew

I don't think there's any way to mark messages as 'read' without actually 'reading' them.

Any time something like this happens to me, I just delete all of my mail. But if that's something you don't want to do, you'll probably have to just go in and open the previous personal messages individually.

Filter your messages - then use the dropdown to "Read all Messages"

Also - use the filters to only receive the mail you wish to. Use the dropdown at the top to see what type of messages come with each different filter.

I really wish there was a way to archive or save emails. There are a lot of cool or interesting stories I come across in emails that i'd like to save to reflect upon later.

Emails don't disappear until you delete them. There is also the Almanac option.
