How do you play?

I know this is a very broad question (and I mainly mean with current MLB setup)

But with all the options I don't know what to tweak and what to leave at default.

Ratings - thinking if going 2-8 or 1-10?
Prospect ratings - 20-80?
Injuries - low?

Just curious on settings ...

Thanks.

I use 20-80 for all ratings, mostly because it's the scale used by real-life scouts. I know many players use 1-10 or 2-8 because it's harder to tell the differences between players based just on the ratings.

I leave injuries on the default, but I turn position player fatigue to high since I want depth to matter a bit more.

Just so many options! Which of course, is great.

What would be really interesting (or really annoying) would be to randomize ALL the league settings with regard to roster size, reserve roster size, pitcher stamina, etc and play a league like that. I bet it would result in some really crazy stuff.

I am also not sure if I want the players ratings vs all players or vs position.

I use by position. If I'm looking for a SS, I don't care how he relates to CF.

I typically use against all players. I want a 5 star prospect to be a possible superstar, not just 5 stars because every SS in the league sucks.

And I tend to subscribe to the idea that "If you can hit, I'll find a place for you to play"

That's my way of thinking as well.
