Play more than one game a day
I like to play out my games pitch by pitch, and occasionally I like to play out some minor league game as well. But when I have played my ML-game for a give day, the computer has played all other games as well automaticly. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Yes, when you start your game, that is in the actual game screen, along the left are various options you can check just before the actual "start game" button is clicked.
One of those options is to allow background games. Disable that and no other games will be played besides yours. |

Even tho i'm still playing in OOTP 13 - it took me a while to find how to do this - I play in commish mode - so I have the option of managing (yes, pitch by pitch as well - for me, the ONLY way to really play baseball!!) literally every single game on the schedule. Often, if it's a game I'm not interested in, I'll have that given game "quick play" itself - and then I'll jump into the games I want to manage. I might end up managing three or four separate games on a given day - which is fine. i'm not specifically managing any one team - I'm more interested in piloting some of my favorite teams -- or picking a team in a particularly good matchup - and having a go at it there.
It's actually a lot of fun and can be a pretty neat challenge. I do the same thing in soccer with football manager (set up is different obviously) - so I'm not limited to managing only Manchester United - I could jump in an coach any club in any match. I love that OOTP has that option available to us!! |
