Is this league feasible

I have an idea for a league that I want to build.

I would divide the continental US into roughly 12 regions... about 3 to five states each.

I would have a league in each region, probably 20 teams. Each with a rookie, A, AA, AAA minor systems. I would use college and high school feeder leagues.

Link the leagues by association and have a playoff. I want to share a draft pool and share free agent pool.

My concerns are as follows:

1. What happens to the talent level of the game when you have so many "Major League" teams. In real life of course, the talent pool would be stretched very thin and the skill level of the average player would be much less than in MLB. This is the effect I would like to achieve.

In other words with roughly 200 major league teams, I do not want a proportional increase in elite talent.

2. Will such a large league cripple my computer. I want to save almost all stats, from all players. I guess I do not care about box scores, or game logs.

3. For the financial model, I want roughly 5000-7000 seat stadiums. With financials and player salaries to match. Not sure how to achieve this.

Any feedback is appreciated.

1. Elite talent will increase proportionally with the number of MLB teams. I'm not entirely sure how to achieve your goal, but you might try fiddling around with the player creation modifiers.

2. Depends on the computer. Saving/loading will take longer than a standard MLB game.

3. As a starting point I'd take whatever the average MLB capacity is in the game and divide by 6000 (the average of your desired capacity) to get a sort of adjustment factor, then divide the various financial settings by that number. You'll need to adjust things here and there I'd expect, but at least it gets you started.

Flair another suggestion for finances is to use a season from the past or to set your league as a AAA which would have lower seating capacities and finances. Dont know how that would affect your actual AAA. Option 1 you would still have to manually set the stadium capacity.
