Who Is Your Leagues Highest Paid Player?

Despite the fact I have inflation set to 2-3 % and this guy makes $73 million per season, very few other guys are as high as I expected and some teams payrolls are lower than 2019 teams. Who is your leagues highest paid player and what do your team payrolls look like?

I know, my last expansion was 2027 and many of those teams have yet to catch up. Charlotte & Portland are beginning to do well but Havana & Montreal are struggling. I'll probably contract soon.

Short-lived incarnation of the Boston Braves, and will be the future Atlanta Braves

I don’t have access to my save ATM because my computer’s getting repaired, so I can’t give you the team payrolls, but in my save in 2022 the highest-paid player in baseball is Mookie Betts at $40 million.

I must say, he looks a lot better playing LF in pinstripes than he ever did in right wearing red.

2025 preseason, 1-4% inflation...

Alex Bregman and Christian Yelich are each making $49 million per year.

That one player cost more than the bottom 6 teams whole payroll, and half the payroll of all but the top 15 teams.
